There are three types of computer are:
1. Digital Computer
2. Analog Computer
3. Hybrid Computer
1. Digital Computer: Digital computers represent quantities with the help of digits.
Numbers are used to performing arithmetical calculations that receive from the user.
2. Analog Computer: Analog Computer are used to process data continuous like pressure, temperature, voltage etc.
3. Hybrid Computer: Hybrid computer is both digital and analog computers.
They extensively used weather forecasting, navigation, etc.
Some other size computers are:
1. Super computer
2. Mainframe computer
3. Mini computer
4. Micro computer
1. Supercomputer: It introduced in 1960. Seymour Cray is called as the father of the supercomputer. CDC-6600 Supercomputer is the world's first supercomputer.
2. Mainframe computer: Powerful computers that may contain several microprocessors. It can be used by hundreds of people at the same time.
3. Mini Computer: These are smaller than a mainframe computer. Minicomputers speeds are rated between one and fifty million instructions per second (MIPS).
4. Microcomputer: Introduced in the early '70s having less storage space.
