1. PAN (personal area network)
2. LAN ( Local Area Network)
3. WAN (Wide Area Network)
4. MAN (Metropolitan Area Network)

2. LAN:- LAN can be either wired or wireless.

3. WAN:- WAN covers a large geographical area such as country, whole of the world.
