A telecommunication network that allows Computers to exchange data.

Connection established between devices using either cable media or wireless media.

1. PAN (personal area network)

2. LAN ( Local Area Network)

3. WAN (Wide Area Network)

4. MAN (Metropolitan Area Network)

1. PAN:- PAN is an area network Used for data communication among devices such as computers, telephones etc.

2. LAN:- LAN can be either wired or wireless.

Every LAN using a protocol -- set of rules that governs how packets are configured and transmitted.

3. WAN:- WAN covers a large geographical area such as country, whole of the world.

4. MAN:-  MAN is a large computer network that usually spans a city or a large campus.
